Copyright is a legal concept, enacted by most governments, giving the creator of an original work exclusive rights to it, usually for a limited time, with the intention of enabling the creator of intellectual wealth. Copyright law protects a wide range of creations. The most obvious examples of works that are protected by copyright are, of course, text, books, art, music and photos. However, there are many other manifestations that are eligible for copyright protection.
